Blacks Retrenches

The British outdoor retailer is taking drastic measures to improve its performance after a tough year. Blacks Leisure Group will shutter scores of loss-making stores, halt investments in large out-of-town stores and fully review its operations to bring more adequate product ranges to the market, while tightening cost controls.
