BM Sportech, a big Spanish wholesale distributor, has purchased 100 percent of Goita Sport, itself the Spanish distributor of Bergamont Bicycles, Outdoor Research and UYN. BM was already the majority shareholder in Goita, which was founded in 2011 by Oriol Rovira, and plans to have it integrated fully by Dec. 1. Until then, Goita's brands will continue to be channeled through their current networks. There will be no change in logistics, which are already collaborative with BM. Headquartered in Zaragoza, BM Sportech is the distributor in Spain for the Scott, Tecnica, Blizzard, Nordica, Mammut, X-Bionic and Kettler brands. Its revenues for 2017 exceeded €35 million, according to the most recent available figures.
