Bob Philion, who has been president and chief executive at Cobra Puma Golf for the last seven years, has been appointed to take over from Jay Piccola as president of Puma North America. Puma had already announced last year that Piccola would retire around the middle of 2017 after nearly 20 years with the company and as president of Puma North America since 2000. Philion joined Puma in 2005 and led Puma's acquisition of the Cobra equipment brand in 2010. He will remain in charge of the golf business while heading up Puma North America. Piccola will also remain involved with the company as a non-executive board director of Puma North America. Separately, Sijla Hintz has taken over as head of sales for Puma in the German-speaking countries from the start of February., supervising field and key accounts. She has been in charge of field accounts for the same countries since 2015. Roman Memmer, who previously ran key accounts in the region, become head of European e-commerce key accounts.
