B.O.C. – Bike & Outdoor Company GmbH & Co., Germany's No. 1 bike retail chain – has named Stephan Geiger to be its new joint general manager, running the company along with Bernd Heumann. Geiger was formerly the general manager of the bicycle and e-bike division of Heinz Kettler GmbH & Co. Heumann comes from Fielmann, where he has been sales manager since 1994. B.OC. has been without top leadership since the end of last year, when Thorsten Kochanek stepped down as general manager. In their new roles, Geiger will concentrate mostly on sourcing and marketing, while Heumann will take care of sales and the online business, as well as act as spokesman. They start their new jobs on Sept. 1.
