Bogner was named as one of the winners of the Ispo Gold Award for 2017 for its B-Light VT skis, which has been developed by its German licensee, Indigo, using a new core construction with vertical titanal strings combined with its patented bamboo composite compound.

The Bogner line of skis accounts for roughly half of the turnover of Indigo, which plans to launch a line of St. Moritz branded skis for the winter 2018/19 season. Indigo is already selling helmets under the St. Moritz brand name.

The company, which has held the Bogner license since 2004, manufactures its skis in Germany, focusing on the premium price segment. It signed a partnership with Mercedes Benz in mid-2016 for the sponsoring of joint events in Kitzbühl to attract new customers.

Indigo also launched its first “Voggles,” a line of ski googles that can be attached directly to ski helmets, offering a 230° panoramic view, at the Ispo 2017 show in Munich. The company's management said it raised its total sales by 15 percent in 2016 and expects to grow by at least 10 percent in 2017.

Indigo has an online store where consumers can order its products. They can also test its skis for three days at a price of €129 per pair.
