Gazelle, Superstar and Samba are back on the golf course as Adidas Originals return to the scene.
On April 3, Adidas returns to the golf courses with its Originals trefoil. With streetwear becoming more entrenched in the sport’s landscape and the fashion community looking to the fairways for design inspiration, Adidas is launching Originals Golf – reimagining its heritage as an original style leader on and off the course.
Clothing aside, the big news is that the collection is introducing among the golf models a handful of classic Adidas Original shoes: Gazelle Golf, updates to both Stan Smith and Samba Golf, and a new Courscup shoe inspired by the 1986 Gold Cup model.
The Adidas Originals Golf range will be worn by Adidas athlete, Swedish golfer Ludvig Åberg, at the first major of the year.
Apparel in the Originals Golf range is highlighted by intricately designed pieces that focus on the subtle details, with a color palette of blues, whites, greens and yellows. The initial drop will occur during the year’s first major.
The full range of apparel, footwear and accessories for Originals Golf will be available exclusively through Adidas.com, the Adidas app, and select retailers.
