Phlex, one of the the leading innovators in swim-tracking technology, has a new partnership with Arena, the global Italian-based swimwear company. Set to transform the way swimmers connect, compete and grow, this three-month collaboration, running from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30, brings together swimmers from all around the globe, creating a community where the passion for the sport meets technology through the Virtual Swimming League (VSL).

The partnership between Phlex and Arena creates a platform where swimmers can connect, compete and learn together. By joining the VSL, athletes gain access to exclusive training content, competitive global challenges and opportunities to interact with fellow swimmers worldwide.
Within the digital community, swimmers will have an opportunity to train alongside some of the sport’s most celebrated champions, now that Olympians and World Champions from Arena’s own roster of athletes form part of the Phlex VSL. Arena champions will serve as ambassadors for the VSL, encouraging participants to earn points and motivating the teams during competitions.
The Phlex VSL is powered by the Splash Score System, which transforms every swim into a competitive event. Swimmers can earn points by engaging with the community, participating in challenges or achieving their training goals. These points can then be used to unlock a variety of rewards.
Phlex is already collaborating with Apple, whose Apple Watch can run the VSL app and track swimming wearer. The head-worn Verity Sense from Polar can do the same.
