ASICS has signed on as the official apparel and footwear partner for the Alpine Paris Major, the fifth edition of the Premier Padel tour’s Paris stop, taking place Sept. 6-13 at the Roland-Garros stadium.

Under the agreement, ASICS will outfit the tournament’s ballkids and animation staff and run an on-site activation where fans can test the padel range firsthand.

The tie-up extends ASICS’s push into padel. The category is a strategic priority for the brand across Europe, and the Roland-Garros deal builds on a padel-specific line that spans several dedicated footwear models, including the SONICSMASH FF, GEL-RESOLUTION X PADEL, GEL-CHALLENGER 15 PADEL and GAME FF PADEL, alongside matching apparel.

The SONICSMASH FF adds a timely hook. ASICS launched the shoe in December, engineering it around a padel-specific outsole and midsole for rapid changes of direction, and developed it with input from Coki Nieto, the world No. 8 player and an ASICS athlete known for speed.

Staged at Roland-Garros, the Alpine Paris Major is among the most prominent stops on the Premier Padel calendar. For brands, the tournament offers exposure at one of Europe’s most recognizable sporting venues and access to a growing padel audience.
