Decathlon has announced a new partnership between Kiprun, its house brand, and French middle- and long-distance runner Jimmy Gressier. The new contract replaces Gressier’s longstanding partnership with Nike. According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the deal with Kiprun is worth around €800,000, a sum the athlete has not confirmed.

The deal starts in 2025 and will continue to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, with an option to extend beyond this period. Kiprun will serve as Gressier’s official partner, supplying him with running equipment.

Born in 1997 in Boulogne-Sur-Mer, Gressier holds the European record in the 5km road, with a time of 13:12. He is also a French champion in the 5000m (2020, 2023) and the 10km (2022) road races. Additionally, he has reached European podiums in cross-country, where he obtained three individual U23 titles (2017, 2018, 2019) and a silver medal in the Senior category in 2021.
