Head is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year with something quiet revolutionary on the tennis court. The Endure Pro Boa is the first-ever Head tennis shoe with Boa wrap ever built.
Equipped with Boa PerformFit Wrap and Dual Li2 closures for a precise fit, the shoe will be launched in July 2025, adding another Head Boa model to the shoe range, as Head already has delivered models for padel and pickleball.
The shoe model made its world premiere on the courts at the 2025 French Open earlier this summer.
According to Boa´s own test lab, the company said that it has been scientifically proven that the Boa PerformFit Wrap configurations improve athletes’ speed, agility and endurance by adapting to and firmly enclosing the midfoot. This ensures optimal heel hold, better connection to the midsole, and more freedom of movement in the forefoot area.
The PerformFit Wrap reduces ankle rotation speed by up to 7%, improving stability and consistency, while an optimized connection to the midsole and up to 3% better heel hold promote energy transfer. Up to 9% more efficient directional changes ensure fast acceleration and braking.
