From the 2025/26 winter season, Intersport Austria will serve as the exclusive retail partner of Ski Austria and official sponsor of the trainer and service teams in alpine and cross-country skiing. The partnership will first be visible during the FIS Ski World Cup opening in Sölden, where the Intersport logo will appear on the headwear of the federation’s support staff for both the men’s and women’s teams.
Intersport Austria and the Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV) have announced a strategic partnership that deepens their long-standing collaboration and aims to strengthen skiing in Austria from the grassroots to the elite level. Under the agreement, effective from the 2025/26 season, Intersport will become the exclusive retail partner and official sponsor of Ski Austria’s coaching and service teams.

For Intersport, the cooperation is part of a broader strategy to support sport in Austria at all levels – from national associations to local community initiatives. “Skiing is part of Austria’s identity and cultural heritage,” said Franz Koll, Managing Director of Intersport Austria.
Intersport wants to enhance brand value with Ski Austria partnership
Marketing Director Johannes Kastenhuber added that the collaboration would extend beyond brand visibility: “It’s about creating real value – with insights from professionals, behind-the-scenes content and inspiration for everyone who loves skiing,” he said.
Ski Austria’s leadership emphasized the significance of the partnership for the continued success and modernization of the federation. “With Intersport, we welcome a strong Austrian partner that stands for quality and passion for sport,” said Mario Stecher, Sports Director of the ÖSV. “Together, we aim to not only excel in our field but also inspire children to rediscover movement and sport.”
