New Era has become the official headwear licensee of FC Barcelona and launched a new capsule collection to celebrates both brands’ sporting and cultural heritage. The partnership marks the meeting of two century-old institutions that have helped shape global sports and streetwear culture.

The collection

The debut line features New Era’s most recognisable silhouettes – the 9FORTY curved visor, 9TWENTY unstructured cap and TRUCKER snapback –reinterpreted in FC Barcelona’s official colors. A highlight of the launch is a special edition 59FIFTY cap featuring the Barça crest, club motto (“Més que un club”) and New Era flag logo, symbolising the fusion of American headwear design and European football identity. More styles are set to follow before the end of 2025.

Founded in 1920 and headquartered in Buffalo, New York, New Era is a global leader in lifestyle headwear, apparel and accessories, with products sold in over 80 countries and a portfolio of more than 500 licences, including collaborations with leading sports leagues and entertainment brands.

The partnership reinforces New Era’s presence in European football – after alliances with Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain – while adding to Barça’s network of fashion and cultural collaborations.
