Their partnership began in 2001.
Nike and Atlético Madrid have signed a new long-term deal to continue their partnership, which sees Nike as the club’s kit supplier, until 2035. Their previous deal was due to expire in 2026. The relationship between Nike and the Spanish football club began in 2001, when the sportswear brand became the club’s technical sponsor and started to create kits for the Rojiblancos. Next season will mark the 25th anniversary of the collaboration.
Atlético Madrid did not disclose the financial details of the new agreement but according to ESPN, the club will receive almost double what it got under the previous deal, which reportedly means increasing from €15 million to €28 million annually.
