The partnership is set to lead to the first-ever FIP Intercontinental Cup this summer.
Premier Padel, Hexagon Cup and the International Padel Federation (FIP) have announced a strategic partnership aimed at further promoting padel globally. The partnership will encompass a series of initiatives and projects. In the immediate term, Premier Padel and Hexagon Cup will promote each others’ existing events. Meanwhile, Hexagon Cup has started the process of becoming a recognized FIP tournament. In addition, the parties will consider a further expansion of the Hexagon Cup circuit in additional padel territories worldwide. The Hexagon Cup circuit currently comprises one single tournament in Madrid.
Additionally, the partnership will lead to the delivery of the first-ever FIP Intercontinental Cup, set to take place in Europe this summer. Details about the date, venue and name of the tournament will be unveiled in the coming months.
On a broader scale, Premier Padel and Hexagon Cup will work on new tournament concepts, brands and ideas, all aimed at raising awareness of padel and ultimately supporting FIP’s Olympic pathway for the sport.
