The collaboration marks the second time the two brands have worked together, arriving as licensed IP partnerships become a standard growth lever for major sporting goods brands seeking cultural relevance across adult and youth markets.

PUMA has launched a co-branded collection with The Pokémon Company to coincide with the Japanese entertainment franchise’s 30th anniversary. Products will be available from April 2, 2026 on puma.com, in PUMA flagship stores and through selected retail partners.

The range spans apparel, footwear and accessories for adults and children. It is structured around the campaign concept “Into Another World”, which contrasts Espeon, a psychic Pokémon associated with sunlight, and Umbreon, a dark-type character linked to moonlight. PUMA says the pairing is intended to highlight dualities, expressed across the lineup through colour, graphics and detailing.

Apparel straddles streetwear and sport references

Everyday silhouettes — T-shirts, hoodies and shorts — feature graphics developed specifically for the collaboration, including characters such as Pikachu, Mimikyu, Espeon and Umbreon. A PUMATECH-X tracksuit and oversized, number-printed jerseys add a more sport-led layer, drawing on uniform aesthetics as a design reference. A cap and sacoche extend the offer into accessories.

On the footwear side, PUMA has reworked two existing models. The Mostro and the Fade Nitro receive Pokémon-themed colourways aligned with the day/night concept, alongside custom hangtags and character-specific detailing. The full footwear range is available in family sizing.
