Swiss sportswear brand On has opened a 530-sqm. store in Newport Beach, California. It is the brand’s tenth store in the US and also largest to date in the country. The store, inaugurated on Feb. 15, is located at Fashion Island, a shopping and culinary destination. Customers can find the brand’s footwear, apparel and accessories for running, trail and everyday activities.
The new retail space in Newport Beach features a Magic Wall, a signature aspect of On’s stores worldwide, where the retail experience is enriched by the possibility for shoppers of an immediate try-on. The Magic Wall incorporates hidden drawers with a full-size run of On’s latest footwear. Swiss design elements, carried across each of the brand’s existing retail locations, are combined with bespoke Newport Beach touches like sand-plastered walls and warm woods, as well as glass bricks that remind of the water’s reflection.
On has another retail space in the Greater Los Angeles area, located in Abbot Kinney, inaugurated in October 2022.
