The dual deal brings two household sporting goods names into the youth sports arena, where experiential activations and brand visibility at the grassroots level are becoming a strategic battleground.

Under Armour and DICK’S Sporting Goods have each signed partnership agreements with Unrivaled Sports, a US-based youth sports platform, to support tournament and event programming across the year, the company said on April 9.

Under Armour will serve as the exclusive performance apparel partner for Ripken Nationals, a 12-and-under baseball championship in its inaugural year, and for marquee Unrivaled Baseball events. The company will also be the official performance apparel partner for Unrivaled Flag events, including the Youth Flag Football World Championships and the High School Girls National Flag Football Competition. Athletes in those events will wear Under Armour apparel.

DICK’S Sporting Goods will act as presenting-level sponsor of Ripken Nationals and the Ripken Nationals Championship. The company will also support livestream coverage through GameChanger, its youth sports platform, for qualifying rounds and the championship at Cooperstown All Star Village in New York.

Unrivaled Sports operates several youth sports properties, including Cooperstown All Star Village, Ripken Baseball Experiences, Diamond Nation and We Are Camp. The company said the partnerships will expand programming across baseball and flag football events through 2026.
