Company and league have been apart for five years.

In 2021, after 14 years in partnership, Under Armour and the NFL parted ways. Now, another five years later, the two are back together and have entered into a long-term partnership in which Under Armour will supply the league’s official shoe and glove. The exact duration of the deal remains undisclosed.

The new agreement is said to affirm both brands’ commitment to innovation in athletic performance, fan engagement and youth development. It includes the following terms:

  • The NFL will support Under Armour grassroots initiatives, such as the UA Next platform, to promote youth sports and development
  • Under Armour will receive rights and IP to include UA logos on on-field UA footwear and gloves
  • Under Armour will have access to NFL media platforms, content creators and distribution channels to collaborate on content and initiatives for on-field and in-game exposure

The deal’s other terms have not been disclosed.
