The organizers of the Bread & Butter show have decided to keep staging it in Berlin for the coming winter edition, which is now scheduled for Jan. 19-21, 2015, parallel to Premium, Panorama and Bright like in the past. The majority of exhibitors and trade visitors were skeptical about holding the event in Barcelona and demanded that it should take place as usual in Berlin. Karl-Heinz Müller, chief organizer of B&B, publicly apologized for his previous decision to move the show back to Barcelona.

The idea of two additional days for the general public at this year's summer edition of the show has also been withdrawn because of opposition from the majority of the exhibitors

During this year's summer edition of the show, Müller had announced that it would return to Barcelona for its winter edition, remaining in Berlin only for its summer edition. Although the show has a contract until Jan. 2019 with the city of Berlin for the use of the former Tempelhof airport, the organizers signed a contract with the Fira de Barcelona for the next three winter editions, with the possibility to extend the partnership in the future.

The next winter edition was supposed to take place on Jan. 8-10, 2015, in Barcelona, thereby becoming the season's first fashion event.

According to the organizers of B&B, the decision in favor of Barcelona had been taken in order to accommodate the Southern European markets, thus covering Europe completely. Following its decision to stay in Berlin, the Bread & Butter show is considering an additional event in Barcelona in the future.

The plans for a show in Seoul remain unaffected. According to tentative dates, the new Asian edition of B&B will take place in Seoul on Sept. 3-5, 2015. Müller announced a few days ago that the show in Seoul will be “a city-wide festival of fashion and not a classic trade show.” Tentatively scheduled for Sept. 3-5 next year, it will have a high lifestyle content and will be directed at buyers all over Asia.
