Brekka has signed a license agreement with Spivo for the North American market. Spivo, which is also the manufacturer of the Canadian Bula brand, will manage the Italian brand of headwear and other winter accessories in the U.S. and Canada through its offices in the two countries. Its distribution in both countries will be directlyl be supervised by Phil Marcovitch, Spivo's chief executive. Brekka products are created and developed in Milan, where the company has its headquarters. Spivo will be introducing the Brekka brand at the Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake City and the SIA show in Denver. Spivo's products are sold in more than 5,000 stores in North America. Brekka's addition will give an Italian flavor to its product range. The Italian company was previously selling in Canada through another distributor, Jovisports.
