Burton has announced a series of promotions in its marketing and product departments. Anne-Marie Dacyshyn, the current senior vice president of marketing, will become Burton's first chief marketing officer. She will report to John Lacy, the company's president, and will now oversee the marketing creative department, along with brand, digital, public relations, events, athlete management, retail marketing and partnerships. Evan Rose, Burton's long-term creative director, has been promoted to vice president of creative marketing, reporting directly to Anne-Marie Dacyshyn. In addition, Randy Torcom will step up to the position of vice president of brand marketing.
In the product department, Chris Cunningham has been promoted to vice president of global product, and will now lead all product categories in both hardgoods and softgoods. In his new role, Cunningham will continue to report to John Lacy. Additionally, the creative product team will now be reporting to Cunningham.
These promotions follow the leadership changes that went into effect at the beginning of February, when Donna Carpenter became Burton's chief executive. In the new structure, Burton's chief creative officer, Greg Dacyshyn, will continue in his current role, reporting to Jake Burton, the company's founder and chairman.
