California-based Camelbak, maker of hydration systems, is changing its distribution system in Germany, France, Italy and Spain. It will have two separate distributors for its products in each country. In Germany, Sport Import will continue selling bicycle-related equipment, while Everest will distribute Camelbak outdoor products. Royal Velo France will remain the distributor for bikes there, but Stè Commerciale JCP will handle outdoor. In Italy Nov.ita will take over distribution of outdoor products while DSB stays in the bicycle business. Team Bike will keep its position selling bikes in Spain, and Vertical s.a. will distribute Camelbak’s outdoor equipment there.
