Callaway Golf has announced an agreement with Michelle Wie to become a company staff pro on the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) Tour. As a Full Callaway Staffer, she will play with Callaway clubs, balls and an Odyssey Putter. A 27-year-old native of Hawaii, Wie joined the LPGA Tour full-time in 2009. She gained early fame at the age of 10, when she became the youngest player to qualify for a USGA (United States Golf Association) amateur championship. In 2003, when she was 13, she became the youngest player ever, male or female, to win a USGA adult event at the Women's Amateur Public Links. Since playing full-time on the LPGA Tour, she has won four times. She is also recognized as one of the longest hitters on the Tour.
