Callaway Golf has named Linda Segre to the company's board of directors. Segre, 55, is executive vice president of chief strategy and people officer at Diamond Foods, a role she took up in March 2014. Segre first joined the San Francisco-based food company in 2009 as senior vice president of corporate strategy. Prior to Diamond Foods, she served as managing director of Google.org and vice president and managing director of the San Francisco office of The Boston Consulting Group. Segre is a golf player herself. From 1981 to 1985 she was a touring golf professional in the U.S., Europe and Asia. As a professional player, she has won five tournaments including the Irish Open and the Reno Open.
