Callaway Golf plans to shut down its 70,000-square-foot ball manufacturing plant in Gloversville, New York, next July 31 and to outsource most of its production to China. Some of it will be shifted to the company’s former Spalding plant in Chicopee, Massachussets. The Gloversville facility employs 120 persons.
