Timo Regier, who has been handling Callaway Golf’s sales in Central Europe, is widening the scope of his sales responsibilities to include the Southern European region previously supervised by Jocelyn Diot, who has left the company.
Regier, who first joined the company in 1997 in London as an inside sales manager, responding to customers’ telephone inquiries, took charge of the German-speaking countries, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe in 2002-03. Diot has been taking care of France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Regier will work with a new team of country and area managers in Continental Europe, promoted within the company, who will report to him, creating a stronger focus on individual countries. One of them is Emanuel Gedouin, the former salesman for the Paris metropolitan area, who is now handling France and the Benelux countries. Another one is Hauke Lipp, in charge of Austria and various Eastern European countries.
The rest of the European sales management remains in place. Based in Stockholm, Peter Wahlgreen will continue to supervise Northern Europe, for example.
