Camelbak, the leading California-based supplier of hydration gear, has hired new distributors around the world. In Greece, the only new hire is Niko Maniatopoulos. Like Hartje, the German distributor hired last year, it will only concentrate on the bicycle market, tough. In Japan, Riteway Product will distribute Camelbak in the bike retail circuit, while Montbell continues to handle the outdoor market for the brand. On the other hand, new distributors will take care of both the outdoor and bike product ranges in Latin America: DEPA will cover Central America and the Andean countries, while Debbiesol will be in charge of Uruguay (more in The Outdoor Industry Compass).
