Camp and Cassin, the two Italian mountaineering brands by the Codega family, will join forces in one single operational unit. Camp and Cassin will team up in the fields of research and development, marketing and communication, and distribution. The distribution of both brands in each market will be handed over to one single distributor, and the tie-up will facilitate the introduction of Cassin in the U.S.. However, the two brands will continue to target different groups of customers. The Codega family bought Cassin, which is named after the Italian mountaineer Riccardo Cassin, in 1997 (more in The Outdoor Industry Compass).
