Cara Delevingne premiered a short film as a part of Puma's “Do You” campaign during an event held at Central Saint Martins in London on July 23. The actress talked about female issues and women's empowerment as part of the campaign. For several months, Delevingne looked for women with inspiring stories to interview and together with Puma, she created a series of four short documentaries on subjects related to women's self-defense and empowerment. Earlier this year, Delevingne traveled to Uganda with the United Nations' Girl Up foundation and met with refugees and members of a female literary group. She took part in their poetry sessions as well as in female self-defense classes. The first documentary focuses on this trip to Uganda. The second film is about her meeting with a group of young women in Los Angeles who also use poetry, in this case to improve youth literacy. The third episode focuses on Ryhana Dawood, the founder of Martial Smarts. Finally, the fourth short film tells the story of two women who suffered harassment, and how they managed to cope with the experience.
