British sportswear brand Castore is the new kit manufacturer of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI). The multi-year agreement will run from this month until 2028, with the new home kit revealed on March 20. Castore is replacing Umbro, whose contract with the FAI was actually due to expire in 2026. Castore is already partnering with major clubs like Aston Villa and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, among others, but this is the brand’s first with an international football team. As part of the agreement, Castore will also “invest significantly” into FAI’s e-commerce infrastructure to improve the fans’ shopping experience. The FAI recently unveiled a new brand identity, including a redesigned crest.
