Castore has just finalized an exclusive deal with Umbro licensee GL Dameck (DLG), granting them the coveted Umbro Professional Team Sports sub-license. This strategic move extends Castore’s reach into the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and Denmark, marking a significant milestone in their expansion.

With a recent investment round in November 2023, Castore continues its trajectory in the sports market. The acquisition of the Umbro Pro Team license underscores this.

This agreement signifies Castore’s strategic shift towards brand segmentation, positioning them as a major player in elite sports across Europe. Castore aims to amplify Umbro’s brand heritage and authenticity, engaging fans on a deeper level.

Beginning the 2024/25 season, Castore gains exclusive rights to collaborate with Umbro’s existing English Premier League team partnerships, including AFC Bournemouth, Brentford, Luton Town and West Ham, among others. Additionally, Castore will supply Umbro-branded apparel to Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish Premiership and the England Rugby men’s and women’s teams.
