Buff is increasing its financial support for Protect Our Winters (POW) to more than $50,000 per year while launching a new collection that “recognizes the important work and culture” of the non-profit organization, founded in 2007 by the professional snowboarder Jeremy Jones. In addition, the Spanish brand of bandanas, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, will launch a special collection with the National Geographic Society, with a portion of the sales going to scientific exploration projects under the NatGeo Society umbrella. With the Do More Now initiative, Buff also aims to make projects and processes more sustainable. The aim is to reduce the ecological footprint – through the development of innovative and sustainable textiles, the optimization of manufacturing processes or sustainable energy use. In addition, Buff promotes local and global environmental projects. Together with a long-standing partner, EOCA (European Outdoor Conservation Association), Buff supports projects that protect rivers, lakes, grasslands or oceans.
