Champion Europe has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with the Hellenic Basketball Federation in Greece to be the official sponsor of the men’s, women’s and children’s national teams through 2010, taking the place of Nike. The men’s national team was recently a gold medal winner at the Eurobasket 2005 tournament in Belgrade and will participate in the FIBA World Championships in Japan this August. Champion has the right to market a line of officially licensed products, such as replica uniforms.
