Chiemsee appointed Lutz Mai to the position of managing director in charge of marketing and sales, succeeding Michael Doerell, who is leaving the company for personal reasons. The 50-year-old will be working together with Cornelia Schmidt, chief executive of the German action sports apparel company. Mai worked previously in business development for Avides Media, a company dealing with online retailers on customer returns, refurbished products and surplus inventories. He started his professional career at Mustang, from where he moved to House of Brands, which belongs to the Otto Group, and the H.I.S label of jeans.
