China's Peak Sport Products announced the signing of a sponsorship agreement with the German Basketball Federation (DBB), replacing Nike in the role. Starting next Jan. 1, Peak will act as the exclusive “premium partner & official supplier” of the DBB, which features several NBA players and has qualified for the finals of the 2013 FIBA European Basketball Championship. With basketball gaining group in China, Peak has been sponsoring the European Basketball Allstar Game and the basketball federations of Serbia and Montenegro. It sponsors two American NBA teams, the Miami Heat and the Houston Rockets, as well as the Toronto Raptors.
