Chris Sports Europe, the distributor of Bjørn Dæhlie, Nabholz and Powderhorn in France, Germany and Austria, has added many new brands in certain countries. The Swiss-based company (profile in our market research on Austria and Switzerland), has been doing well in the past couple of years as distributor of New Balance in Switzerland, and it is now representing the brand also in Austria, where it was sold by agents reporting to the company’s German subsidiary. In Austria, it will also be in charge of Orage on an agency basis. In Germany and Austria, it is now distributing Nomis and Sound, brands of street and snowboard apparel, as well as Technine and Surface, which market snowboard and ski wear respectively. It will also act as the new agency in Germany and Austria for 4FRNT skis.
