Cisalfa Sport, which controls Intersport Italia, has appointed a new managing director for the buying group, Bruno Antonioli. On Oct. 3, he replaced Flavio Mazzocchi, who has left the group, citing differences of views with Cisalfa's new management. Antonioli spent six years in senior positions with Carrefour in Italy until he joined Cisalfa in May 2002 as purchasing manager. He still keeps that position. Mazzocchi ran Intersport Italia for nine years, building it up to a network of 180 selected retail members with 226 stores including the first 16 Intersport franchises in Italy.
