Coalision, the holding company behind brands such as Lolë and Paradox, has announced the sale of Orage, the Canadian ski outerwear brand, to Orage's co-founder, Eric D'Anjou, and a freeskier, Mike Nick. D'Anjou, the original founder of Orage in 1989, will act as Orage's president, overseeing product development, finance and operations. Nick will act as Orage's vice-president of sales and marketing. A former Orage athlete, Winter X Games medalist and pioneer of the freeski movement, Nick joined Orage in 2002. In an effort to ensure a seamless transition, Coalision will provide Orage with back-office and organizational support and the Orage team will remain at Coalision's head office in Longueuil, Québec for the next year.
