Cobra Golf has announced the return of Greg Norman, nicknamed The Shark, to its Tour staff as a global brand ambassador. As part of the long-term agreement, the Australian golf legend will represent Cobra at several PGA Tour events including the Valero Texas Open in March, the OHL Classic at Mayakoba in November, and the Franklin Templeton Shootout in December. Norman will collaborate on product development and use Cobra clubs at a variety of appearances and tournaments. He will help promote the worldwide visibility of the brand through his elite status and strong business connections, including his partnership with the China Golf Association. The Shark's bag and headwear will showcase the brand's logo. Golf World magazine recently released a list of the top 100 golfers of the “modern era,” 1980 to the present day. Tiger Woods came in as No. 1, followed by Greg Norman.
