Complementing our exclusive charts on the major sports retailers in the main European countries, the Norwegian sporting goods industry association, Norsk Sportsbransjeforening, is sharing with us some additional figures that show the estimated share of online sales in the market. They indicate that internet sales of sporting goods were worth an estimated 3,067 million Norwegian kroner (€309.6m-$351.7m) in 2017, equal to 16.7 percent of the total market. While pure players held a share of 56 percent in the online turnover, the sports chains had a share of 27 percent.
