Converse has announced the launch of “Made by you,” a new global campaign celebrating its Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker and the people who have turned it into their artistic canvas. The campaign features more than 200 portraits of worn and customized Chucks, from everyday Chuck Taylor wearers as well as celebrities like Patti Smith and Andy Warhol. The multi-channel campaign includes classic ads, videos, virtual reality experiences, online and social media. In addition, the Nike-owned company will set up art installations and murals in cities across the globe, including London, Shanghai and New York. The Chuck Taylor All Star was first available in 1917 and has become one of the world's most iconic sneaker.
