Corinne Gensollen has been confirmed as the new general manager of Intersport France, responsible also for Belgium. She has taken the place of François Neukirch, the French industry expert, who is planning to open the biggest Intersport store in the Paris region, located at Herblay. Gensollen, 48, started her career at Procter & Gamble in 1990, rising to the rank of trade marketing manager in France in 1997-99. After that, she worked on and off for the Olympique de Marseille football team, which counts Intersport as one of its sponsors, starting as marketing and sales director for its OM brand and ending up as director of operations. She ran a sports consulting firm, WND Sport, between 2001 and 2005. At Intersport France, Gensollen will be in charge of all operations functions as well as its bike manufacturing subsidiary.
