Amer Sports booms off into the new year with a warehouse opening. The facility, located in Belleville, Ontario, is marking a significant milestone in Amer Sports North American operations, the company hopes. Amer Sports describes it as a state-of-the-art facility just six kilometers from the previous site and is set to be fully operational by January 2025.
The warehouse is designed to be used in multiple ways. Amer Sports Designed to support all our brands, the facility consolidates key operations under one roof, including distribution & transportation, human resources, finance, customer service and logistics. With 80 employees already on site, Amer Sports plans to expand the team further to meet growing demands and support our continued growth.

Hightech investment to drive distribution and sales
The company said this is Amer Sports’ most significant investment in Canada to date. The facility introduces the advanced Exotec Skypod Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), the first in Ontario. This cutting-edge technology accelerates order processing times and optimizes storage capacity, ensuring we’re well-positioned to meet customer needs efficiently.

The facility is situated in the heart of Canada’s most densely populated region and provides next-day ground service to over 26 million people. This location reduces transportation costs and supports our sustainability goals by minimizing the environmental impact of deliveries.
Built around density (maximizing storage efficiency) and velocity (accelerating order processing), the new warehouse drives cost savings, enhances customer satisfaction, and supports long-term business growth.
