The new Tokyo office is designed to promote activity-based working and foster collaboration between different teams at Asics.
Asics Japan recently moved its Head office in Tokyo into the JP Tower, formerly the central mail sorting office of Japan Post, the company said. The lower five floors of the building preserve the original 1930s facade of the Tokyo Central Post Office, which faces the iconic red-brick Tokyo Station.
Asics occupies the 24th floor, with grand views over the station and the Marunouchi district. The company can also see the famous 5K circuit around the Tokyo Imperial Palace.
The new location will also serve as a satellite of the company’s global headquarters in Kobe and is designed with a variety of spaces to promote Activity-Based Working and foster collaboration between different teams at Asics, the company said.
