Swiss running brand On has inaugurated its first LightSpray factory near Zurich, taking a major step toward localized, on-demand manufacturing. The factory will be producing high-precision midsoles with On’s proprietary LightSpray process, developed over five years. By reducing water, energy and waste in production and relocating parts of the supply chain closer to headquarters, On aims to increase speed-to-market and sustainability. The brand plans to scale the innovation globally in the coming years.
