Munich-area premium ski and sportswear brand Toni Sailer has moved into second-generation family ownership. As of Aug. 27, Kevin Taubenberger, 36, has taken over ownership from his father, Hans Taubenberger, who founded the label in 2004 and built it into a family-owned brand under Fashion Pool GmbH. Headquartered near Munich, the company today runs a wholly owned subsidiary in North America and sells through 224 points of sale in 32 countries.
Kevin joined the family business in 2014. He first built the brand’s US market, then took charge of e-commerce and digital growth. He has served as Fashion Pool’s chief executive since 2022, overseeing strategy and operations.

The younger Taubenberger described the ownership change as taking on “responsibility for what’s been built” while setting a new course for the brand. Hans Taubenberger called the handover the result of years of growing responsibility on his son’s part.
The transfer formalizes a leadership transition already underway: Kevin has run Toni Sailer operationally since 2022, and his background building the brand’s US and e-commerce operations gives the succession continuity rather than disruption.
