Two of Crocs' new managers will be in charge of the Americas and the Greater China region. Two others have global responsibilities: Greg Sullivan as senior vice president of “global business transformation” and Michelle Poole as senior vice president of global product creation and merchandising.
The new general manager of Crocs Americas is Bob Munroe. Among other positions, he spent ten years with Reebok, taking care of North America and then acting as president of the brand following its acquisition by the Adidas Group. At Crocs, he is taking the place of Greg Sullivan, who has held the position since October 2013.
The latter will serve as Crocs' new senior vp of business transformation, a function describe as guiding the company's ongoing cultural, organizational and strategic transformation. Crocs says he will help to drive “the creation of a merchant-led enterprise and more nimble global and regional organizations.”
Greater China will be led by Scott Yuan, described as an experienced products executive who has been with the company in China since earlier this year. He is replacing Ted Lee, who will leave Crocs later this year.
We have already mentioned Poole's appointment in the last issue. She will gradually take the place of Dale Balthum, a five-year veteran of the company who has been the chief product officer since 2012, adding many new styles to Crocs' product range. He will leave the company by Nov. 20 to pursue other interests.
Poole, who will also take care of merchandising, joined Crocs in August after spending five years as senior vice president of product for Sperry Top-Sider. The new managers are reporting to Andrew Rees, who was recently appointed president of Crocs.
