Asics is inviting runners around the world to join the Run for Reforestation Challenge, which started on April 10 and will be held until April 30. The challenge encourages individuals to take action against climate change by supporting reforestation efforts while they are training to foster healthy minds and bodies through exercise. The challenge is available in the Asics Runkeeper app in Europe, North America, Latin America, Oceania, Japan, Korea, South East Asia, and the Middle East. Through a partnership with U.S.-based non-profit One Tree Planted, Asics has pledged to plant 25,000 trees once it reaches its goal of 25,000 challenge completions, which is one tree for every 5km run or walk.
