In its third annual Impact Report, released Sept. 12, Lululemon provided a detailed account of progress and lessons learned from its multi-year strategies and commitments to advance the well-being of people and the planet. At the heart of the Power of Three ×2 growth plan is Lululemon’s Impact Agenda, which is based on the recognition that the well-being of people and the planet are interconnected. The company’s holistic approach to creating positive impact is brought to life through Lululemon’s three pillars: Be Human, Be Well and Be Planet.

Since 2020, the Canadian company has advanced its Impact Agenda goals. The 2022 Impact Report shows continued progress and momentum and highlights areas for further acceleration. Above all, Lululemon is committed to acting with urgency while taking a thoughtful approach.

“As our business grows, so does our pursuit to scale our positive impact across the globe,” said Esther Speck, SVP, Sustainable Business and Impact. “While the potential of people is limitless, the resources of our planet are not. And that is where possibility lies – where people and communities innovate together to create collective action.”

Climate action is a critical area the company will drive to achieve its science-based targets, with a focus on decarbonizing the supply chain. To achieve this, the company will continue to work with its suppliers and industry associations to improve energy efficiency and accelerate the transition to renewable energy. On Lululemon’s journey to become a net zero company by 2050, progress will continue to be driven by innovation and collective action to create a healthier future.
