Cycles Lambert, the largest distributor of bicycle parts and accessories in Canada, is going to acquire a majority interest in the Hawley Company, a distributor of parts and accessories in the U.S. based in South Carolina. The president of Hawley, Steve Hawley, will keep that position and remain a large shareholder. The deal should be concluded by the end of the year. Lambert, which has facilities in Quebec and British Columbia, distributes to about 1,500 dealers in Canada, while Hawley handles 2,000 dealers in the U.S.
